Malaysian MACH 1 team visits China to strengthen cooperation with CMEC

2025-11-04Recently, the renowned Malaysian construction machinery team MACH 1 visited Beijing as scheduled. The chairman of SINOMACH Heavy Equipment Group Co., Ltd. (SINOMACH-HE) personally headed a team to carry out in-depth discussions with the MACH 1 guests on construction machinery business and arranged the guests to participate in the BICES 2025 User Festival, hosted by the China Construction Machinery Association.

During the exchange, both sides conducted multiple rounds of in-depth dialogues on key and complex issues in the construction machinery industry, with the exchange characterized as comprehensive and multi-dimensional. At the high-level strategic meeting, leaders from SINOMACH-HE and MACH 1 analyzed global market trends. Both sides agreed that with the continuous growth in infrastructure demand across Southeast Asia, the construction machinery market is entering a new growth phase. At the same time, challenges such as stricter environmental standards, accelerated adoption of intelligent technologies, and supply chain stability must be addressed. In response to these trends, both parties explored opportunities for collaboration in product development to enhance their competitiveness through technological synergy and seize market opportunities.

During the client-focused discussions, SINOMACH-HE held one-on-one meetings with MACH 1 representatives. The clients shared the challenges they have encountered in overseas projects based on their practical engineering experience. In addition, both sides reached preliminary consensus on topics including long-term procurement agreements and customized client training programs. They expressed willingness to prioritize products jointly promoted by both parties in their future Southeast Asian projects.
During the on-site visit, the MACH 1 team visited the BICES 2025 User Festival, where they gained firsthand insights into the latest advancements in Chinese construction machinery. The delegation noted that Chinese equipment, with its strong performance and reliability, has become an important reference and support for Malaysia's infrastructure projects. They emphasized that BICES not only provides Malaysian users with a valuable opportunity to learn about China's technological progress and connect with top suppliers, but also showcases "demand and opportunity" from the Malaysian perspective, with products tailored to the needs of the Southeast Asian market.

This visit by the MACH 1 team has achieved the core goals of information sharing, demand alignment, and problem solving, while also establishing a long-term mechanism for mutual visits and regular communication?—?laying a solid foundation for continued and deepened cooperation between the two sides.
