The Santa Elena Community and the Guano Community affordable housing projects in Ecuador, undertaken by Sinomach subsidiary SUMEC, have been completed. Ecuadorian President Guillermo Lasso attended the completion ceremony. He voiced appreciation for CAMCE's efforts and was satisfied with the community.

The Santa Elena community has a total of 100 housing units, meeting the needs of about 300 local people.
